About The Position

Join us as a Regional Production Specialist, Builder's Risk to step up to a key role that will drive business growth. The Regional Production Specialist must be able to illustrate the highest levels of technical proficiency and underwriting acumen combined with marketing and sales skills to meet production underwriting goals while maintaining budgeted loss and expense ratios. How you will create an impact This is a key role in our Builder's Risk team in which you will take ownership for achieving goals and outcomes. You will be tasked with mentoring colleagues and overseeing a range of programs and processes, in addition to handling complex underwriting. You will thrive by successfully balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk mindset. It will be essential to build effective relationships with brokers and to deliver a high standard of customer service as an example for the team to follow. You will promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and learning while mentoring and developing colleagues through effective leadership, role modeling, and training programs. You will aim to facilitate personal growth and career development, supporting succession planning. You will also play a key role in new business development, including attending broker events and building new relationships across the market.

Requirements

  • Proven underwriting experience in Builder's Risk and commercial property E&S and a successful record of selling products to clients.
  • Established relationships with retail and wholesale brokerage partners
  • A strong understanding of current market conditions, and the ability to quickly make decisions and turn around quotes and manage multiple prospects at one time are essential.
  • The ability to analyze financial statements.
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer and sales-orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
