About The Position

As a Regional Pricing Analyst, you will be tasked with understanding, executing and maintaining pricing strategies. A Regional Pricing Analyst analyzes all information related to quotation requests such as previously quoted prices for similar parts lists in the region, current market conditions, direction from the Product Management team related to any short-term initiatives, and cost data. An Analyst typically reviews 20-50 quotes per day. This position must consider input from Manufacturer’s Reps, Direct Sales, Product Management, and other intracompany organizations, but will ultimately prepare the cost analysis or quotation based on his/her judgment. The incumbent will adjust pricing based on the results of their analysis within their authorization levels. Your responsibilities will include utilizing sales and product knowledge to analyze competitive bid packages and rebate agreements. Additionally, you will coordinate activities with other departments to obtain accurate information on manufacturability, costs, and other product parameters and will use judgment and discretion to interpret data and prepare the most accurate pricing in an efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years of pricing experience OR bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Currently reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY or Highland, IL (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Crouse Hinds and/or B-Line Products
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI
  • Background in Manufacturing or Distribution
  • Experience with Electrical, Mechanical or Datacom channels to market and familiarity with selling through manufacturer’s representative, distribution, or factory direct sales forces

Responsibilities

  • Analyze competitive bid packages and rebate agreements in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of market trends and conditions, bid strategies, and competitive activity
  • Develop and maintain continuous ownership of all aspects of pricing for assigned territory and/or product line
  • Be accountable for maintaining profit margins and price realization while supporting growth targets
  • Understand and execute divisional and regional pricing strategies related to market share growth and profit targets
