About The Position

As a CBRE Regional Portfolio Planner, you will provide consulting services to a large global technology client. You'll oversee our Portfolio Consulting business in multiple geographical locations and guide a collaborative team. This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Portfolio Planning services in relation to real estate operations and investments. Expected travel up to 25% within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Build real estate strategies and consulting for small to medium size clients.
  • Deliver strategies with assigned clients. Assists with local portfolio strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic portfolio planning with stakeholders.
  • Monitor organizational performance and reports on data collected.
  • Evaluate space rationalization for clients and provides solutions as needed.
  • Develop strategies to reduce costs for clients.
  • Assist with consolidation reviews and transactions with clients.
  • Present reports and studies on location, labor, and retail on properties.
  • Gain comprehension of the client's business. Ensure that property and location strategies align with the business strategic direction.
  • Contribute commercial and financial knowledge during strategy development and presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
  • Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
