About The Position

To drive our Reimagine Coaching transformation forward, we are establishing a thoughtful career progression within the Advisor & Business Development organization and clarifying the lines of ownership within our wealth management teams. The Regional Planning Consultant plays a vital role in supporting Fidelity Wealth associates by reinforcing the principles of guidance and personalized planning. You will impact associate development through focused coaching support in the key foundational areas including communication skills, planning concepts, practice management techniques and planning tools. Please note: This role is open for eligible associates to apply who are currently within the Advisor and Business Development organization. We are currently hiring this role to sit in a regionally aligned location. Work locations are not exclusive to those listed in this job posting.

Requirements

  • Sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of planning interactions
  • Expert level experience and understanding of financial/investment planning process and knowledge of strategies in areas of retirement planning, education funding, estate planning and insurance planning
  • Fidelity product knowledge/experience preferred
  • FINRA Series 7, 63/66 required and insurance licenses must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred
  • At least 25% travel in the field will be required
  • Your planning skills and in-depth knowledge of financial product offerings
  • Your unparalleled desire to coach and impact others’ results
  • You effectively coach by communicating and influencing associates to embody the Standards of Care while driving impact within their Framework for Success
  • You have public speaking skills and are confident in front of an audience of any size

Nice To Haves

  • CFP certification preferred
  • Fidelity product knowledge/experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching support as a member of the Wealth Management Coaching Team model, deployed to Fidelity Wealth associates
  • Providing subject matter expertise on a broad range of financial planning and investment solutions, including client interactions, planning concepts & tools, strategies & product solutions, and practice management
  • Coaching topics will consist of, but not limited to, Practice Management, Client Interactions, Planning Concepts & Tools, and Strategies & Product Solutions
  • Document coaching interactions in Salesforce Coaching App 2.0 to support Fidelity Wealth associates in their skill progression
  • You are encouraging the growth of our advisory associates and preparing them to become highly proficient and effective advisors by embracing the Fidelity Relationship Model and Standards of Care
  • Provide financial planning expertise to client-facing Fidelity associates and clients through joint appointments
  • Partnering with advisors in client appointments to support the introduction and implementation of appropriate planning solutions
