About The Position

As a Regional Piercing Excellence Trainer, you will be on the frontlines of elevating our piercing business. Partnering with your Piercing Excellence Manager and field leaders, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and inspiring store teams across your region to deliver safe, confident, and exceptional piercing experiences every time. This role is about building capability, driving conversion, and ensuring piercing becomes a standout differentiator for Claire’s.

Requirements

• Previous retail leadership or training experience required.
• Certified in piercing or willing to complete Claire’s Piercing Specialist certification.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills, able to train and motivate large groups.
• Passion for fashion, jewelry, and customer service.
• Results-driven with a track record of influencing sales or service KPIs.
• Comfortable with frequent travel across assigned region.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-field training to store teams on piercing technique, safety, and customer experience.
• Build confidence in team members to increase piercing conversion and penetration.
• Provide hands-on coaching, feedback, and certification to new and existing team members.
• Partner with District Managers and Store Leaders to drive piercing performance as a key business KPI.
• Track and analyze piercing results in your region, adjusting focus and training priorities as needed.
• Share insights, wins, and opportunities with your PET Manager to shape regional strategies.
• Ensure piercing services reflect the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and infection control.
• Manage compliance with all state and provincial regulatory requirements for piercing, including licensing, certifications, and health/safety standards.
• Model exceptional customer service that makes every piercing a memorable and comfortable experience.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Claire’s as the global leader in safe and stylish piercings.
• Partner with Field Leaders (DMs/RDs) to ensure piercing is a business priority in every store visit.
• Support execution of national piercing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and training rollouts.
• Foster a culture of excitement and accountability for piercing across the region.
