About The Position

Essential Job Functions Interfaces with Operations staff to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies. Provides regular communication to site Operations and internal departments regarding operational issues, process flows, customer requirements, account-specific issues, etc. Includes analysis, insight, and recommendations. Serves as primary technical support for site database operations, such as Global Operating Systems (WM). Ensures operational system integrity, including setup and control processes. Responsible for training new team members in the field and communicating best practices at the branch level Analyzes processes, document process improvements and recommends improvements to the Technology team Implement standard operating procedures working with applicable department Manager, sales and effectively communicate with clients and vendors Troubleshoot service failures by establishing or updating client SOPs Identify resource allocation needs and communicate to management When applicable develop KPI to help measure process improvement Prepares technical reports by analyzing and summarizing information and trends Other duties as assigned Other Skills & Abilities Expert/Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and comprehension) Highly motivated and energetic with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and continually changing environment Must be able to operate independently and within a team environment Must be able to work with a technical and non-technical staff at all levels Excellent time management and organizational skills Demonstrates initiative and adaptability Physical Requirements Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required 4+ years of logistics/freight forwarding experience 1+ years of management experience 1+ years of project management experience Certification & Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas WHY SHOULD YOU WORK FOR CRANE? Requirements
