About The Position

The Regional Parts/Service Manager at Subaru of America is responsible for collaborating with Zone Directors and Zone Retailer Aftersales Managers to achieve regional parts and service objectives. This role focuses on enhancing owner loyalty, driving parts and accessory sales growth, and managing warranty costs effectively. The manager will also oversee training needs, promotional budgets, and customer satisfaction initiatives within the region.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through dotted line organization structure.
  • Automotive field and management experience in parts and accessory sales, marketing, and inventory management.
  • Budget management and financial analysis expertise.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 8-10 years' experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Zone Directors to meet annual Regional parts and accessories purchase goals.
  • Supports the Regional Customer Experience Manager in achieving Parts and Service customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Ensures effective utilization of all Subaru of America national programs including PRIME and SAF Funds.
  • Identifies non-technical training needs for retailers and coordinates efforts with Subaru of America and Zone teams.
  • Oversees the Regional Fixed Operations promotional budget and reviews monthly results to implement corrective solutions.
  • Partners with the Regional Distribution Manager to plan for the impact of growing electric vehicle business on parts and accessory attainment.
  • Monitors warranty and Policy Adjustment Request costs and directs corrective actions.
