About The Position

We are seeking a Regional Partnerships Manager who plays a critical role in alignment with Industry Partnerships Managers to advance industry partnerships at the campus level. This position is responsible for building, strengthening, and sustaining employer relationships to ensure students have access to the highest-quality career pathways. By aligning industry partnership objectives with local campus execution, the Regional Partnerships Manager ensures that employer initiatives, recruiting activities, and talent-pipeline programs are seamlessly delivered and optimized for student impact. The role serves as a primary point of contact for regional and campus employer partners as well as campus stakeholders, helping translate strategic goals into actionable engagement activities. Location: Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of our Aviation Institute of Maintenance campuses in Chicago, Philadelphia, Teterboro, or Indianapolis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Workforce Development, Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in employer relations, workforce development, career services, recruiting, or partnership coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with employers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple employer initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional, multi-campus environment.
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to engage industry professionals, campus leadership, and students.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, technical education, or related industry sectors.
  • Knowledge of regional labor markets and workforce needs.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM/databases used in employer engagement or recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary campus-level liaison for assigned Strategic and Growth employer partners, maintaining strong working relationships with regional recruiters, hiring managers, and industry representatives.
  • Develop and grow revenue-generating opportunities from employer partners.
  • Coordinate local execution of industry employer partnership initiatives, ensuring consistency with partnership goals.
  • Support the development and continuity of employer hiring pipelines within assigned campuses through structured engagement and coordinated recruiting activity.
  • Collaborate with employers and civic partners to plan and execute information sessions, interviews, and career-connected learning activities.
  • Identify regional employer trends or emerging opportunities and escalate potential expansion discussions to Industry Partnership Managers as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with campus leadership and student success teams to ensure alignment with employer needs and partnership objectives.
  • Coordinate with campus teams to ensure employer and civic engagement activities are effectively integrated into campus operations.
  • Gather campus feedback, employer insights, and regional labor‑market updates to inform national strategy.
  • Promote employer opportunities, career pathways, and hiring events to campus student success teams to support student awareness and preparation.
  • Facilitate connections between employers with qualified students and graduates through coordinated campus engagement when requested.
  • Coordinate campus‑level employer engagement events including recruiting visits, employer events, and technical talks.
  • Serve as a key participant and contributor to campus career fairs.
  • Ensure events are executed professionally and aligned with Partnership team standards and objectives.
  • Track event participation, hiring outcomes, leads, enrollments, and follow‑up actions to support reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Document employer interactions, engagement activities, and relevant partnership metrics in designated systems.
  • Prepare regional engagement summaries and contribute insights to national partnership reporting.
  • Monitor student placement outcomes, student participation, and partnership performance metrics for assigned employers.
  • Collaborate with Industry Partnership Managers, student success teams, Academic leadership, and other regional coordinators to ensure alignment and effective execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new partnership programs, hiring pipelines, and apprenticeship initiatives.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, partnership briefings, and cross‑regional collaboration sessions.
