About The Position

The Regional Outreach Coordinator at JDC Entwine is responsible for implementing outreach and recruitment efforts aimed at engaging Jewish young adults with Entwine's programs. This role involves developing targeted recruitment initiatives, cultivating relationships, and representing Entwine at various events to expand its network and participant base. The coordinator will work closely with the Outreach and Marketing Teams to achieve recruitment goals and ensure a seamless transition for participants into long-term community involvement.

Requirements

  • Prior professional experience in community organizing, recruitment, networking, program and event planning, or related fields.
  • Track record of successful community engagement and/or recruitment.
  • Strong computer skills including expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate or higher experience using CRMs (such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge) and/or applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once with strong project management skills.
  • Engaging and creative storytelling and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to rapidly build authentic relationships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop creative educational concepts and use multimedia.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young Jews to become leaders in their communities.
  • Experience working in distributed teams and remote environments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment initiatives and outreach campaigns to meet or exceed applicant and participant goals.
  • Participate in conferences, partnered events, and local community gatherings to expand Entwine's network.
  • Research, plan, and facilitate events in the region to engage potential participants.
  • Attend at least two community events per month targeted towards potential Entwine participants.
  • Engage in at least five coffee chats per week with prospective participants.
  • Cultivate relationships through storytelling and authentic engagement with potential participants aged 18-39.
  • Conduct one-on-one follow-up and correspondence with prospective community members.
  • Work closely with the Alumni Engagement team to implement seamless transition processes from recruitment to long-term community involvement.
  • Build awareness of JDC and overseas Jewish needs by cultivating partnerships with local and national organizations.
  • Represent Entwine at major partner gatherings, public forums, and community events.
  • Coordinate with Entwine's Salesforce Administrator to ensure accurate data capture on all users regarding recruitment and inquiries.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of JDC's overseas programs.
  • Record all interactions with prospective participants in Salesforce and manage inquiry responses for the region.
  • Help manage the JDC Entwine email inbox to ensure positive interactions with prospective participants.
