About The Position

The Regional Manager for Glass America is responsible for the operation and results of multiple shop and work locations within a designated area not limited to operations, internal and external development, business relationships, wowing every internal and external customer and profitability. Expected to provide leadership and mentoring to all their direct reports and lead their team effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years auto glass industry experience.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience with a strong focus in Operations, Sales and Marketing.
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Time Management, Organizational Skills, Customer/Client Focus and Initiative.
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.
  • Self starter, driven by incentives, a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of all business units within the designated areas or locations through active coordination with the fulfillment group at all times.
  • Manage and hold staff accountable for performance through clear communication and ensure all reporting employees understand the company mission to WOW every customer and to be the best.
  • Ensure staff are following company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Recognize and document exceptional and substandard performance.
  • Work to develop a team that is focused on our mission and that enthusiastically strives to deliver consistent repair service experiences that exceed our customers expectations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by coaching staff and resolve customer concerns as required.
  • Embrace organizational WOW initiatives.
  • Responsible for profitability of all areas and/or locations managed.
  • Review all financial and performance reports.
  • Execute necessary actions to meet or exceed monthly and annual operating and financial goals.
  • Partner with the General Manager and/or Market Manager to recruit, interview and hire new staff.
  • Train new hires in regards to company policy and procedures.
  • Seek out opportunities to continuously educate and develop all employees.
  • Promote safe, clean working conditions, review ERS audits and safety records of their locations.
  • Ensure that all personal protective equipment is being used properly and document managers that do not enforce Glass America's safety policies.
  • Conduct operational reviews with General Managers, Market Managers and Fulfillment groups on a monthly basis.
  • Promote, develop and act as a liaison with area Account Managers to ensure locations and markets are responsive to clients and insurance agencies in a timely manner.
  • Work with RVP and corporate to achieve the external growth of the assigned market.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the Gerber Collision & Glass management teams in the area to ensure we are performing at an acceptable level.
  • Solicit, develop and report on vendor relationships.
  • Participate in company operational meetings as required.
  • Participate in external marketing and team building activities as requested.
