The Regional Operations Manager at Serene Lodging Inc. is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple properties to ensure they are run efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with both brand and company standards. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high guest satisfaction scores while working closely with the Asset Management team to ensure the properties are well-kept. The manager will conduct regular property visits, perform Quality Assurance inspections, and analyze reports from the brands to ensure compliance with established guidelines. In addition to monitoring operations, the Regional Operations Manager will ensure that General Managers are effectively addressing customer and associate feedback. This includes handling escalated issues that go beyond the General Manager's level and maintaining open communication with the properties regarding significant matters. The role also involves recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising General Managers, as well as conducting performance reviews. The manager will assist in creating annual budgets for the properties and submit regular performance reports to the Regional Vice President of Operations, outlining action plans to address any deficiencies. The position requires participation in staff, revenue, and sales meetings to enhance guest and associate satisfaction while focusing on increasing revenues and reducing operating costs. The Regional Operations Manager must model the behavior of a 'Baywood Ambassador,' maintaining professionalism and fostering teamwork. This includes actively listening to guests and associates, taking ownership of complaints, and continuously monitoring the work environment for cleanliness and safety issues. The manager will also promote and participate in community service events sponsored by Baywood.
