We are seeking a Regional Operations and Compliance Leader to join our growing team in San Diego, CA Working with Arrowhead Programs’ Chief Administrative Officer and assigned Profit Center’s Leadership teams, be responsible for the overall development, function, and implementation of operational excellence and best practices while mitigating E&O exposures. How You Will Contribute Identify and lead implementation of operational efficiencies for support and administrative functions and create scale where possible to lead to higher quality of service and lower cost. Quantify and capture all such margin improvement opportunities. Where practicable, support creation of effective and efficient standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prevent gaps in quality and knowledge of products by standardizing training and workflows, resulting in increased productivity. Develop and lead communications and change management plans. Understand, assess, and analyze office / team / project budgets to find ways to reduce operational expenses and optimize profits, which may include outsourcing. Partner with the Arrowhead Programs Growth & Innovation (G&I) team to advocate for business cases and act as the business representative. Support the businesses to drive projects forward. Ensure delivery and documentation of the value of projects and collaborate with other PCs to share ideas and experiences. Champion implementation, training, communication, and adoption of AI tools to use data to drive growth and profit. Lead identification and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, timeliness, and cost, and be accountable to drive execution against established benchmarks. Collaborate, revise and assist in publishing IO Best Practices guidelines. Drive audit improvements in working with audit teammates and professionals (internal and external, as needed). Ensure audit observations are remediated timely. Reduce error rates and rework rates in the operational workflows. Actively participate in the IO Improvement Committee Lead workstreams to drive valuable change Collaborate with other Committee members to share ideas and support change Participate in insurance operations due diligence of potential acquisitions. Lead the IO acquisition integration of new acquisitions and accomplish all IO tasks within the integration plan, including training the new OCL and all role description related responsibilities. Actively participate in the integration management office (IMO) for the insurance operations integration of One80 offices and teammates. Take the lead role on several PC integrations. Partner with the OCL in each PC to implement best practices. Where PCs do not have another leader to take on the OCL role, either act as the OCL directly or partner with the PC to recruit, hire, and train the right teammate to fit the role description. Once the right OCL is established, operate as the ROCL in all aspects of the role description. This includes: Support PCs across all of Arrowhead Programs to understand the rules and awards of the Annual Sales Conclave and enter Top Gun numbers in the database. Partner with the Division CFO and Corporate Events team to ensure award winners are provided timely and accurately in preparation for the ASC. Identify and recruit operations talent. Mentor and guide team members to maximize their full potential. Be knowledgeable of operations teammate’s career path and provide necessary resources and training options to support them in reaching their goals. Increase job satisfaction for the teammates leading to higher retention.

Requirements

  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Five or more years of experience in a similar position, with a focus on insurance, compliance, and/or operations and successful change to align business with future needs/direction.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five or more years of leadership experience
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
