About The Position

The ROA is a Regional Operations Administrator with local only travel responsibilities. Their travel will primarily consist of locations within a 4-hour commute from their designated home-base. The ROA will be responsible for in-field training of HSMTs, site coverage, and assisting FTO’s, AOM’s, and OM’s with any additional tasks assigned to them. The ROA role has an expectation that 50% of their time will be spent covering billable shifts. ROA will report to a site unless discussed before hand with AOM/OM/Director

Requirements

  • One year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand a minimum of five hours in a workday
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of a valid National Registry or State EMT-B Certification
  • Valid CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with OSHA regulations, specifically in 29 CFR 1910
  • Experience working on large-scale construction sites
  • Experience with the workers’ compensation claim process
  • Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training
  • An active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card

Responsibilities

  • Work with new hire HSMTs to complete the on-boarding and training process including but not limited to: following up with the new hire on upcoming certification deadline, ensuring the new hire is being assigned to Online Field Orientation, completing field training and completing 30 + 60 day progress reviews
  • Report to Operations Manager and HR with any new hires that should be removed from the on-boarding process due to lack of training progress/completion
  • Ensure that all training is properly documented in a timely manner
  • Work with HR and Scheduling to schedule and host Continuing Site Education shifts
  • Identify retraining needs for HSMTs and execute the retraining and documentation
  • Issue mock incidents as needed
  • Assign additional training to HSMTs on shift that have not worked in a while to keep their skills fresh
  • Assist Case Officers to ensure that follow-ups, incidents, and cases meet Amphibious Medics standards
  • Contribute to improvement on the Health and Wellness topics and presentations
  • Complete Inventory drops as needed (dependent upon location)
  • Assist HSMTs and Inventory Team with site related inventory issues
  • All other tasks as assigned
  • Build and foster relationships with the HSMTs
  • Perform site coverage as needed (minimum 50% of work will be site coverage)
  • Visit each assigned job site on a scheduled basis to perform site audits
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and report suggested improvements to the Asst Operations Manager
