Position Overview: The Regional Nurse Manager directs nurse infusion, triage, and navigation care delivery within a designated region, ensuring efficient and quality delivery of patient care services. Works collaboratively with all levels of leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure favorable patient and staff outcomes. In partnership with senior leadership responsible for ensuring clinical expertise, safety, positive outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

  • Day-to-day accountability across regional locations, ensuring nursing care delivery is safe, high-quality, and patient-centered, includes allocation of nursing resources and coordination of schedules.
  • Functions as a content expert ensuring nurses are knowledgeable, competent, and adherent to policies and procedures. Ensures content is consistent with best practice.
  • Regularly engages and collaborates with senior and interdisciplinary leadership to ensure seamless clinic workflow. Serves as a point of contact for nursing practice concerns.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate care management programs and value-based care standards.
  • Contributes to the strategic planning and growth through intentional project management, communication dissemination, new initiative ideation, and partnership with senior and executive leadership.
  • Functions as a resource to support and onboard nursing teams acquired with organizational growth.
  • Assists senior leadership in managing budgets for nursing operations and ensuring cost-effective practices.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and implements continuous improvement programs to enhance care delivery and patient outcomes. Uses data to track outcomes and evaluate key performance initiatives.
  • Assumes accountability for direct report interviewing, selection, retention, and onboarding.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.
  • Licensed RN in the State of Michigan required.
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • ONS Chemo & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of employment.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse Certification with 12 months of employment.
  • Successful completion of competency-based orientation program.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of oncology experience in nursing, outpatient infusion experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Ability to travel to sites within designated region.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Skill navigating healthcare software and data analysis.
