About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic thinker and creative merchandiser. You’ll serve as the lead buyer for all merchandise, guide regional merchandising strategy, and partner closely with store teams to ensure LuLu’s retail experience reflects the quality, energy, and authenticity our guests love. You’ll collaborate directly with our CFO and leadership team, blending trend-awareness with financial discipline to drive sales, maintain strong vendor relationships, and build assortments that tell the LuLu’s story.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in merchandise buying and retail operations
  • Strong vendor negotiation and trend analysis skills
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work occasional weekends and evenings

  • Experience with inventory management systems and POS platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all merchandise buying, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
  • Source new products, track trends, and attend trade shows to keep assortments fresh and competitive
  • Drive regional merchandising strategy and visual standards across all locations
  • Oversee online store merchandising and coordinate product promotion support
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to forecast trends and optimize buying decisions
  • Partner with store managers to enhance the guest experience through strong merchandising
  • Train and support store teams with product knowledge, sales strategies, and brand standards
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure consistency, quality, and operational excellence
