This role involves coaching a team of 15-20 direct reports, developing rapport, and implementing personalized measures to gauge improvement. You will conduct coaching sessions, mentoring, and corrective action plans, while ensuring proper staffing levels and managing team productivity. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining strong work relationships with retail leadership, managing expenses, and facilitating training efforts. You will communicate daily with the field team and provide weekly reports summarizing progress towards KPI targets.
Responsibilities
- Effectively coach a team of 15-20 direct reports.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with direct reports.
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet program demands.
- Manage expenses for the designated team to stay within budget.
- Communicate daily via email and phone with the field team.
- Facilitate training efforts including one-on-one shadow training and classroom-style training.
- Aggregate best practices and create processes for team benefit.
- Provide weekly reports summarizing progress to assigned KPI targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in management or marketing, or equivalent of 5 years related retail management experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a competitive spirit.
- Ability to read and manipulate spreadsheets and create presentations.
- Strong customer service and selling skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet MVR check requirements.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift 30lbs.
