About The Position

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Marietta, GA team. Seeking applicants with at least 3 years of management/supervisory experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience (healthcare or nonprofit preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted
  • Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
  • Knowledge of modern principles and practices of administration and organization, including general budgeting, accounting and personnel management techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to prepare concise and informative reports
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize office, management and blood banking software

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional operations across donor centers and mobile blood drives, including blood collection and donor recruitment
  • Inspire and manage staff to meet daily and long-term goals
  • Ensure the region operates within its established budget
  • Monitor and improve key metrics including blood inventory goals and recruitment targets
  • Ensure purchasing, receiving and inventory functions are controlled at the region
  • Manage hiring, training, and staff development for the regional team
  • Represent LifeSouth in the community — promoting our mission and strengthening partnerships
