Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field (sometimes experience can substitute for formal education).
Experience in multifamily property management, ideally as a Regional Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of real estate finance, accounting, and operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including owners, residents, and vendors.
Proficiency in relevant software, such as property management systems and Microsoft Office.
Must hold an active Alabama real estate license or willingness to obtain within 90 days

Responsibilities

Financial Performance: Oversee budget development, monitor financial statements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Operational Management: Direct property management, construction, and personnel issues within the region.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate on-site teams to achieve performance goals.
Property Management: Ensure properties are well-maintained, meet occupancy goals, and comply with industry standards.
Resident Relations: Address resident concerns and ensure positive resident experiences.
Compliance: Maintain compliance with fair housing laws, local regulations, and company policies.
Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on portfolio performance.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and address specific regional challenges.
