About The Position

F3 Marina is a leader in professional marina management and consulting services to marina owners anywhere. Our services include all aspects of waterfront development and management, including; marinas and adjacent upland property, such as multi-family and retail. We provide the expertise, experience, and attention to detail to delight our boaters, clients and communities while maximizing occupancy and revenue. We are looking for a Regional Manager to join our team. The Regional Manager will interact with all facets of the Marina Division. He/she will support the Marina Leadership Team and be responsible for assisting in the operations of marina properties across our portfolio. Key components of this role are:

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with good coaching and mentoring skills, a minimum of 10 years in the marina industry including sound knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting, handling, towing, plant and equipment maintenance, relationship building and customer service experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, with a CMM certification or the ability to attain this certification.
  • Additionally, a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marina General Manager having had budget responsibilities, capital improvement project management experience and working knowledge of broad marina operations including the ancillary revenue outlets available.
  • The ability to analyze financials, revenue streams and overall budgeting and recommend improvements or areas for opportunity is a must.
  • We seek a professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to adapt to various accounting and operational software options and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • A combination of day and overnight travel of up to 75% of the time is required based on the growth projections of the business.
  • The ideal candidate will live near a major airport making work travel as efficient as possible.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience with the following software is a plus, but not required: Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the commissioning of new marinas
  • Working onsite at marinas during commissioning and as we onboard new Marina General Managers
  • Traveling to marinas with exceptional manpower, capital improvement or operational needs
  • Providing marketing support to Marina General Managers – assisting with annual marketing plans, social media, constant contact newsletters and partnering with 3rd party marketing partners
  • Creation, revision and delivery of F3 University Marina training
  • MMS expert and trainer
  • Quarterly operations audits of marinas
