About The Position

The Regional General Manager (RGM) at Happy Helpers Moving Co. is a pivotal role responsible for leading the expansion of the company by launching and overseeing multiple new locations in the Tampa, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and Fort Myers areas. This position requires a strong leader with a proven track record in multi-location management, who can drive operational excellence, financial accountability, and exceptional customer service while fostering a high-performing team culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-location management, preferably in the moving, logistics, or service industry.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling new locations or divisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in hiring and developing mid-level managers.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with proficiency in analyzing financial and operational KPIs.

  • Experience in the moving or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with customer satisfaction metrics and operational efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the launch of three new locations over the next 12 months, ensuring each is operational and profitable within 90 days of opening.
  • Develop and execute hiring strategies to quickly build high-performing teams at each location.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize new market opportunities.
  • Recruit, train, and manage Branch Operations Managers for each location.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement.
  • Standardize processes across all locations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Oversee the implementation of training programs for staff to ensure a high level of service.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each location, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Report on regional financial performance to company leadership.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to exceptional customer service by ensuring all locations meet or exceed service standards.
