About The Position

The Regional Manager at IEC Property Services Corporation is responsible for overseeing the physical and financial operations of a portfolio of apartment communities in Southern California. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies while maximizing property performance. The position requires frequent travel to various properties within the assigned region, focusing on enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Certified Property Manager designation preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in apartment management, with at least 5 years in portfolio level multifamily property management.
• Experience managing a portfolio of at least 750 units across multiple submarkets.
• Strong hands-on property level knowledge and understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPM or ARM designation in progress is preferred.
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees apartment assets within the assigned regional portfolio.
• Formulates and oversees the implementation of business plans and long-term property operations strategies for each property.
• Conducts regular site tours and property inspections.
• Supervises and directs the efforts of Community Managers and other associates to achieve budgeted property level objectives.
• Conducts routine quarterly training meetings with key personnel such as Community Managers.
• Assesses the performance of site teams and trains them accordingly to improve results.
• Responsible for market analysis and monitors leasing results.
• Promotes customer service and teamwork with all members of the regional property management team.
• Continually evaluates each asset, identifies key issues, and develops individual business plans for each property.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting for assigned portfolio using Yardi modules.
