About The Position

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Territory Managers to enhance sales volume and distribution for the Swisher portfolio within a designated region. This role involves managing direct accounts, regional chain accounts, and ensuring the team meets annual sales plans while fostering strong relationships with customers and internal personnel. The position emphasizes people development, organizational skills, product knowledge, and effective communication to drive sales growth and achieve company objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of growing CPG sales experience.
  • Must be at least 21 at the time of employment.
  • Valid driver's license required at the time of employment.
  • Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Territory Managers to increase sales volume and distribution.
  • Maintain and oversee 7 direct accounts and 6 regional chain accounts.
  • Deliver the company's annual sales plans and manage trade programs.
  • Develop positive working relationships with Swisher personnel and customers.
  • Recruit, train, and lead Territory Managers, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure Territory Managers understand company plans and provide consistent feedback and training.
  • Track and measure Territory Manager performance and deliverables.
  • Utilize product knowledge to support sales growth initiatives.
  • Engage with wholesale and retail partners on sales and category management initiatives.
  • Plan and execute region meetings, summarizing action items post-meeting.
  • Communicate daily with Territory Managers and generate concise emails for updates.
  • Monitor sales numbers and retail activities, generating reports as required.
  • Understand wholesale account management variables and provide solutions to maximize sales.
  • Manage all Trade Programs within the region and support special projects as needed.
