About The Position
Under general direction, the Regional Manager, Inventory Replenishment leads a core component of Interstate Batteries (IB) transformed supply chain model - efficient management and replenishment of Fulfillment Center (FC) and Distributor inventories to maximize product availability, ensure customer satisfaction, and enable sales growth. This role will lead a team and collaborate with key stakeholders (internal & external) in execution of inventory replenishment activities and is expected to provide thought leadership in development of key processes, metrics, KPIs, etc. This leader will also drive continuous improvement activities to foster on-going maturity of IB's inventory replenishment processes and tools. The Regional Manager will manage a team of Supply Chain Analysts, overseeing the onboarding and initial setup of Distributors to receive supply from Fulfillment Centers. They will be responsible for the ongoing management of Distributor inventory replenishment from the Fulfillment Centers and will collaborate with the Supply Planning Team to achieve forecast accuracy and attainment. Acting as a subject matter expert for inventory replenishment processes, the manager will engage with IT and Supply Chain counterparts to identify system capabilities and requirements to support inventory management and replenishment. In addition, the Regional Manager will develop and monitor Fulfillment Centers and Distributor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, driving improvement and any necessary recovery activities. They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity for improved inventory management practices and network optimization. The role requires building and developing a team of analysts capable of effectively executing inventory replenishment activities and resolving inventory issues with Distributors. The manager will analyze supply and demand imbalances and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain.
