About The Position

The Regional Manager will drive growth by leading Zywave's Client Cloud selling team, ensuring effective market penetration and adoption of solutions. This role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, building strong relationships, and empowering the team to deliver consistent revenue results. By championing Zywave's innovative technology, the Regional Sales Manager will position the company as the premier partner for streamlined delivery across the insurance ecosystem.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years in sales, 1.5 of which should be at Zywave
  • Working knowledge of Client Cloud and licensing structure
  • Track record of exceeding regional sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting sales metrics, pipeline data, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and represent Zywave externally.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align regional initiatives to overall company objectives.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
  • Strong leadership skills are necessary to manage regionally deployed workforce, while effectively interacting and coordinating activities across the company.
  • Highly refined business acumen and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis and incur business expenses for reimbursement per company policy. Personal credit card and active driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving revenue goals of regional sales team on an ongoing basis to ensure region is on target with established growth goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies that drive adoption of Zywave's Client Cloud solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to expand market presence.
  • Actively coach performance of direct reports and provide regular performance feedback to drive results.
  • Understand key motivating factors for each direct report and how to keep employees engaged.
  • Analyze reports regarding sales activity and metrics to identify past trends to develop strategic action plans to improve business metrics to ensure future revenue growth.
  • Prepare/manage monthly regional forecasts accurately through active pipeline management in SFDC.
  • Participate in key aspects of the sales process for high priority opportunities to support Account Executives.
  • Identify training needs of the regional sales organization to provide ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in onboarding process of new Account Executives and assist with action plans to jump start territory penetration.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and working knowledge of industry trends.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure clear communication and share best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
  • Work with sales management team to develop strategies for revenue growth.
