About The Position

The Regional Manager for Adoption Journeys at Child & Family Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Post Adoption program in the Waltham office. This role includes ensuring clinical standards are met, managing a small caseload, and actively participating in service delivery such as home visits and support groups. The Regional Manager will also lead a team, provide training, and develop community resources to support families formed through adoption and guardianship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a relevant field and 5+ years of progressive work experience in foster care and/or adoption.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in foster care and/or adoption or other relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience with clinical supervision strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma and loss.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a Regional Response Team to provide home-based, intensive family stabilization services to families formed through adoption and guardianship.
  • Monitor and participate in provision and scheduling of all services, including support groups and community trainings.
  • Provide programmatic and clinical supervision and training of program staff.
  • Monitor program referrals and case assignments.
  • Oversee staff training and management of electronic health records and internal record systems.
  • Develop marketing strategies for the program, including outreach and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the availability and reimbursement of respite resources and services; manage monthly budget expenses.
  • Develop and provide trainings for key professionals and organizations in adoption competent services.
  • Maintain a current adoption-related resource directory, including a listing of adoption competent therapists.
  • Participate in statewide meetings and manage personnel responsibilities, including timesheets and performance reviews.
  • Develop community resources and collaborative relationships with other agencies.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may require nights and weekends for support groups and program events.
