About The Position

The Regional Manager for Attended Donation Centers (ADCs) at Goodwill North Central Texas is responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure operational excellence in the collection and processing of donated goods. This role involves overseeing personnel, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. The manager will also focus on staff development, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years work experience, preferably in a related field.
  • At least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity or leading teams.
  • Proven skills in planning, organizing, reporting, and training.
  • Strong math and communication capabilities (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in previous employment.
  • Ability to adapt and manage change effectively.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and the disadvantaged.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve operational excellence.
  • Direct personnel in the collection of donated goods at ADCs and home pick up.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, coach, and develop staff at all levels of assigned operations.
  • Set personal development goals and pursue self-improvement opportunities.
  • Support the growth and development of team members by identifying training needs and providing mentorship.
  • Ensure the accuracy of time-sheets, payroll, and scheduling.
  • Assist in the creation of budgets for operational periods and monitor departmental expenses.
  • Visit all ADC sites regularly to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor customer/donor feedback and implement action plans to address issues.
  • Establish and maintain a system of record keeping and report generation.
  • Maintain all driver and vehicle records as required.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Loss Prevention Department to maintain security of donated goods.
  • Provide training to staff on security protocols.
