About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Regional Maintenance Leader to oversee the maintenance operations across multiple RV parks and mobile home communities within our portfolio. This role will provide leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to ensure each property is safe, well-maintained, and operating at the highest standard of quality. The Regional Maintenance Leader will work closely with on-site managers, property staff, and contractors to coordinate preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and emergency repairs. This individual must be a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of balancing both fieldwork and regional oversight.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing sewer and septic systems.
  • Skilled in carpentry, drywall, taping/texturing, painting, and general building repairs.
  • Proficient in landscaping care, including irrigation system troubleshooting and plant/grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to safely trim and maintain trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
  • Basic roofing repair and maintenance experience.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify root causes of issues.
  • Mechanically inclined with proficiency in using standard maintenance tools (pressure washers, drills, saws, etc.).
  • Computer literate; able to operate maintenance software and mobile applications for work orders.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive problem solver.
  • Professional appearance and respectful demeanor with strong communication skills.
  • Customer service focused; committed to providing a positive resident and guest experience.
  • Observant, detail-oriented, and safety conscious.
  • Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance operations across multiple RV and mobile home communities within the assigned region.
  • Train, mentor, and support on-site maintenance staff; assist in hiring and evaluating performance.
  • Develop and enforce maintenance schedules for utilities, equipment, infrastructure, and community facilities.
  • Coordinate and oversee larger-scale repairs, renovations, and capital improvements (roads, sewer systems, electrical infrastructure, common areas).
  • Ensure all properties meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; enforce OSHA and company safety practices.
  • Source, negotiate, and supervise contractors and service providers for specialized projects.
  • Assist in creating and managing maintenance budgets; monitor expenses to align with financial goals.
  • Provide support during storms, outages, or other emergencies to minimize disruption for residents and guests.
  • Maintain high standards of service and responsiveness, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments across all communities.
