As a Regional Loss Prevention Manager, you will direct, manage and coordinate all Loss Prevention strategies and staff within an assigned region. This role involves communicating with Assistant Vice Presidents, Vice President of Loss Prevention and Sr. Regional Vice President on all matters relating to Loss Prevention. You will be responsible for developing and implementing shrinkage reduction programs within the region and providing input to the development of chain-wide shrinkage programs. The position also requires valuing and modeling behaviors consistent with Leadership Success factors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience
  • Progressive Loss Prevention methods
  • Management and supervisory skills
  • Investigations and interviewing skills
  • Hiring and training skills
  • Knowledge of retail store operations
  • 6+ years experience in the retail environment or 4+ years with a Master's
  • 3 years management experience

Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage and coordinate all Loss Prevention strategies and staff within an assigned region.
  • Communicates with Assistant Vice Presidents, Vice President of Loss Prevention and Sr. Regional Vice President on all matters relating to Loss Prevention.
  • Develops and implements shrinkage reduction programs within the region.
  • Provides input to the development of chain-wide shrinkage programs.
  • Values and models behaviors that are consistent with the Leadership Success factors (e.g. leads with vision, knows the business, leads others, acts with integrity, thinks strategically, develops others, etc).
  • Directs all investigations, deploying resources as needed.
  • Oversees all Loss Prevention audits and shrink controls.
  • Designs and implements processes to reduce shrink.
  • Manages physical security functions and the protection of company assets.
  • Develops shrinkage reduction strategies with field and store management.
  • Provides input for regional business plans; monitors the results and analyzes the effectiveness of these programs to ensure the desired outcome.
  • Fosters Loss Prevention, store operations and human resources partnerships.
  • Provides managerial, business and technical coaching for Field Loss Prevention and store operations teams.
  • Oversees all Loss Prevention training processes.
  • Ensures effective development of exempt staff, developing back-ups for all key positions.
  • Directs all Loss Prevention Recruitment Processes in assigned region.
  • Develops staffing plan.
  • Develops all shrinkage reduction and resource allocation plans.
  • Manages Loss Prevention expenses to budget.
  • Compiles all LP reports.
  • Supports Marmaxx values; customer service, open door, diversity, community legal relations, safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
