As the Regional Logistics Project Specialist , you will serve as the strategic integrator between manufacturing output and customer fulfillment operations. Your primary objective is to optimize the end-to-end flow of goods across our North American distribution network, strategically balancing operational cost efficiencies with premium service-level benchmarks. This role requires a dual approach: designing high-level supply chain architecture while ensuring the seamless execution of "boots-on-the-ground" project management. Being present in facilities across North America is key to delivering all the aspects of this position. Knowing from Canada, East to West of US and Mexico is mandatory to understand each particularity of the business and address the solutions accordingly.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering, specifically managing multi-site networks.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Project management and continuous improvement.
  • Data analytics, KPI management, and financial oversight.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish

  • Lean Six Sigma or PMP (Highly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse process optimization, such as implementing new WMS features, layout redesigns, or automated sorting systems.
  • Cost vs. Service Balancing: Support the development and execute strategies to reduce freight and holding costs without dipping below 98% on-time delivery (OTD).
  • Carrier & Provider Management: Support the Outbound Freight team to negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) with 3PLs and freight forwarders that align with regional project goals.
  • KPI Management: Maintain a regional dashboard tracking Total Landed Cost, Warehouse Utilization, Order Cycle Time, and all related KPIs in 3PLs and Outbound Management.
  • Financial Oversight: Support the Logistics Cost Specialist in managing the regional logistics budget, identifying variances, and proposing corrective actions for cost overruns.
  • Metric Optimization: Reduce logistics cost as a percentage of sales by 5% annually and increase inventory turnover by 15% via better flow coordination.
  • Supply Chain Flow: Reduce inbound lead time variability from international suppliers.
