The Regional Logistics Manager will oversee the operations of 2-3 warehouse / distribution facilities. They will develop strategic initiatives for the region that align to the overall logistics vision. They will be accountable for the operation of the facilities including its financial results, customer delivery, safety, quality, equipment, inventory, labor, and productivity. They must drive results within their facilities through staff development, cost savings, and effective leadership while exceeding customer requirements. Essential duties include: · Leadership - lead a team of talented warehouse professionals in the successful accomplishment of regional logistics & business performance goals · Safety - build a best-in-class safety culture through employee engagement & commitment; communications; standard procedures; training & trust · Operations - improve tactical execution of daily business plan to meet cost & service requirements measured through standard key performance indicators · People Development - create a culture of skills development, organizational alignment & employee participation
