About The Position

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America. We are seeking a seasoned Labor Relations Manager with deep expertise in multi-regional construction and union environments. This role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships with labor unions, managing collective bargaining agreements, and resolving complex employee relations matters. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, or Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects involving trade unions
  • Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments
  • Strong background in private sector labor relations
  • Exceptional negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities

Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Lead and support negotiations of CBAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements
  • Manage internal investigations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with union leadership and shop stewards
  • Collaborate with Legal Counsel and cross-functional teams on employee relations matters
  • Provide strategic consultation to leadership on labor relations issues
  • Conduct training, presentations, and public speaking engagements
  • Coach and influence leaders in a matrixed environment
