Job Summary The Regional Investment Consultant (RIC) is responsible for sales of Thrivent Mutual Funds, Managed Portfolios, ETFs, and SMAs. Position will provide field sales coverage within assigned territory as well as assist in some national assignments to Financial and lnvestment Representatives. The RIC is an external mutual fund wholesaling position. RICs proactively interact with Financial Representatives through both in field meetings through external rotations, as well as telephone, email and virtual presentations as needed to position Thrivent Mutual Funds, Managed Portfolios, ETFs, and SMAs in client investment and retirement strategies. They achieve this by mastering and utilizing extensive product knowledge, competitive positioning, sales process skills and case consultation skills. RICs are responsible for addressing advanced planning topics where Thrivent products are utilized. RICs work with Financial Representatives from their assigned territory and back-up for national sales support when needed. This individual will also be responsible for developing and successfully executing upon a business plan, managing the territory and understanding the greatest opportunities for Thrivent Funds. RICs provide sales and sales support to Financial and Investment Representatives within all channels Thrivent Distributors has access and selling agreements contracts. Total compensation consists of an annual salary, quarterly performance-based bonuses, and monthly variable compensation for a target comp range of $335k to $400K with unlimited upside based on territory sales.
