Jabil is seeking a Regional Inventory Control Manager to work in St. Petersburg, FL or any of our Jabil Plants located throughout the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Logistics or other similar related degree program is strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in Inventory Control or Logistics is required, preferably in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • At least 3 years of Management experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and potentially SAP or Oracle.
  • Experience with change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels, efficient stockroom and shipping processes, and alignment with corporate supply chain strategies for all US Locations.
  • Manage all aspects of inventory control, including accuracy, cycle counts, physical inventories, and reporting.
  • Optimize warehouse layouts, stocking strategies, and the use of technologies like RFID.
  • Ensure compliance with Jabil policies and operational standards.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and product transfers from other regions or customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to address issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage logistics operations at all of our US sites, including shipping, receiving, and returns processing.
  • Solicit ongoing feedback from Workcell Manager (WCM), Business Unit Manager (BUM), peers and team members on team member’s contribution to the Workcell team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team members based on feedback.
  • Establish clear measurable goals per site and the region.
  • Define, develop and implement an Inventory Control strategy, which contributes to the regions strategic directions.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
