Regional Intelligence Training Center Instructor The Opportunity: As a trainer, you’re passionate about delivering differentiated instruction in exciting ways. You understand that learning styles vary and thrive in helping Marines grasp complex intelligence concepts in operationally relevant contexts. Bring your passion for delivering mission-focused training programs to our Marine Corps Intelligence team. As a trainer on our team, you’ll provide in-person and mobile instruction for Marine Corps operating forces through live, instructor-led training. You’ll expand your technical expertise and operational intelligence knowledge while collaborating with leadership to devise creative solutions for mission-critical training requirements. In this role, you will be armed with the resources you need to excel, including facilities, Marine Corps-standard computer systems, intelligence training environments, and government-furnished curriculum frameworks. Be empowered to tap into your creative thinking, influence, leadership, and analytical skills to manage and deliver intelligence training using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process. You will develop learning objectives and instructional materials aligned to tactical unit requirements, ensuring training supports varied learning styles and operational readiness needs. Using instructional materials, intelligence scenarios, exercises, and mission-driven delivery methods, you’ll cultivate a learning environment that actively promotes learner engagement and enhances Marine Corps’ tactical intelligence capabilities. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Intelligence operations, including company-level intelligence, collections management, and intelligence analysis methodologies
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps formal instruction processes and the Systems Approach to Training (SAT)
  • Ability to deliver instructor-led intelligence training and facilitate classroom and field-based learning events
  • Ability to identify training deficiencies and support development of intelligence training solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with intelligence, or 6+ years of experience with intelligence in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with instructor or training support within Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS), Regional Intelligence Training Centers (RITC), or Marine Corps operational units
  • Experience supporting mission readiness exercises and sustainment training events
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps mission readiness exercises and training evaluation methodologies
  • Ability to conduct command-level engagement with intelligence training leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Education, or a related field
