About The Position

The Regional Industrial Engineer will be responsible for measuring, installing, and maintaining equitable standards across multiple locations. This role involves developing reports, implementing method improvements, and performing quantitative analyses to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. The engineer will also utilize continuous improvement tools to address process inefficiencies and positively impact key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3 months of experience as a Systems Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Trainee, or related role.
• Experience in developing, installing, and maintaining equitable standards based on work sampling techniques.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining information dashboards, databases, and archives in cloud-based applications (Qliksense, Sharepoint, Powerapps).
• Ability to measure variances in performance to standards and use root cause analysis tools to minimize or eliminate variance.
• Experience in initiating and managing projects focused on improving key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Measure, install, and maintain equitable standards for processes across 4 locations.
• Develop reports such as crewing guides, reconciliation tools, and dashboards.
• Use work sampling techniques to resolve questions of operator utilization, performance, and efficiency.
• Implement method improvements to reduce production costs and improve performance compared to budgeted figures.
• Perform quantitative analysis on potential return on investment for engineering projects.
• Review, update, and develop action plans utilizing continuous improvement tools such as root cause analysis and fishbone diagrams.
• Conduct walkthroughs on the production floor to identify process inefficiencies and develop corrective and preventative actions.
