About The Position

The Regional In-Home Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of field-based sales representatives who meet with homeowners in person to provide solutions, present proposals, and close business. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with experience managing high-performing sales teams in a consumer-focused, home-improvement environment. You’ll own revenue performance for the region, ensure best-in-class customer experience, and help strengthen Southern Exteriors’ brand presence and market share.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience (in-home, home improvement, B2C field sales strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of leading a quota-carrying sales team to exceed revenue goals
  • Strong coaching skills with ability to develop both new and seasoned reps
  • Experience using CRM platforms, sales reporting dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as needed (approx. 40–60%)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor in-home sales representatives
  • Conduct field ride-alongs, performance reviews, and skills coaching
  • Establish clear sales targets and drive accountability toward quota achievement
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to increase close rates and revenue growth
  • Track KPIs, conversion metrics, and pipeline performance to identify trends and opportunities
  • Ensure consistent use of sales scripts, presentations, and CRM processes across the team
  • Foster a consultative, ethical, customer-first sales culture
  • Ensure every appointment reflects Southern Exteriors’ values and brand reputation
  • Support escalated customer concerns and assist in problem resolution when needed
  • Oversee scheduling, routing, and territory assignments for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and timely reporting of sales activity and forecast
  • Maintain compliance with pricing, policies, safety standards, and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead quality and pipeline flow
  • Partner with operations, installation, and Operations to ensure seamless job fulfillment
  • Communicate field insights to leadership to support product, pricing, and process improvements
