We’re currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven General Manager to lead our HVAC construction operations. This role is focused on continuous improvement across sales, operations, processes, technology, and policies. You’ll design and execute strategies for key initiatives, contribute to quality assurance programs, and assess operational and financial risks for proposed projects. Strong multitasking and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to delegate effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations Management
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, estimating, financials, and P&L
• Ability to read construction documents and HVAC plans
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent time management, organization, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC construction strategies and quality assurance programs
• Enhance operational systems, processes, and policies for efficiency and profitability
• Maintain P&L responsibility and ensure accurate cost estimates
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and creative work environment
• Prepare and review financial reports to meet annual goals
• Conceptualize HVAC Design/Build projects (warehouses, offices, retrofits)
• Oversee HVAC Designers and review CAD drawings and load calculations
• Drive sales with existing clients and pursue new opportunities
• Manage Estimators and review outgoing bids for risk and profitability
• Track and report sales and operational data
• Lead Project Managers and conduct weekly scheduling/financial reviews
• Supervise project closeouts and service contract opportunities
• Motivate and develop department personnel
• Implement procedures for operational excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned
