About The Position

The Regional General Manager, Dental Sales is responsible for leading sales growth and operational excellence in a designated geographic region, managing a territory valued at approximately $100M. This role combines leadership, sales management, and business development to enhance market share, profitability, and operational efficiency. The position oversees all field sales activities and collaborates with field operations to achieve corporate strategic objectives while fostering a customer-centric culture.

Requirements

  • Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in applicable professional experience.
  • 3 or more years of management experience.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to board-level executives.
  • Proficient in strategic planning, project management, and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and dental industry practices, including NDSOs, CHCs, and private practices.

  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline; Master's degree or global equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Actively grow sales in the region through strategic initiatives and expand market share with existing customers.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to sales and operations teams, mentoring and coaching Team Schein Members (TSMs).
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee the region's financial performance, managing profit and loss (P&L) statements and ensuring alignment with corporate profitability goals.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for sales and operations personnel, ensuring continuous training and development programs are in place.
  • Act as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and regional teams, ensuring effective communication of corporate initiatives.
  • Implement national and regional marketing programs to promote growth and ensure efficient supply chain processes.
  • Participate in key corporate projects and initiatives, including regional and national conventions and customer events.
