Regional Garden Center Merchandiser, Full Time
About The Position
Our Regional Garden Center Merchandisers will work at multiple retail locations with the responsibility to: · Assist garden centers staff with plant deliveries, merchandise plant displays, and special projects · Support and guide Dan & Jerry's Garden Center Merchandisers · Assist staff to assure high-quality standards as established by Dan & Jerry's are maintained · Provide exceptional customer service support · Effectively communicate with Territory Manager daily on garden center conditions · Typically working at 5-6 stores per week · Early March - end of May availability · Proper placement and displaying Garden Center Signage. · Water plants when necessary · Utilize Dan and Jerrys online inventory system to account for unsellable product · Disposing of unsellable plant material Safety: · Safety is a top priority at Dan and Jerry’s Greenhouses, you will take an active leadership role in promoting a safe working culture. Requirements
- Customer service experience
- MUST be trustworthy with a willingness to learn
- MUST have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record for company insurance purposes
- MUST have a cell phone & a valid email address for work purposes. Cell phone allowances will be provided.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and have a positive and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Plant knowledge is a plus, will train motivated individuals with a desire to learn more about the industry
