Drivers based near Macon, GA can join a regional flatbed operation hauling steel pipe and flat steel with reliable freight and home weekends. What This Job Offers This role focuses on hauling steel products using flatbed trailers across regional lanes. Freight moves regularly and dispatch remains consistent. Drivers average 2,300–2,800 miles weekly with roughly 40–50% tarped loads. Earnings 27% of linehaul revenue Average $1,500–$2,000 weekly $40 tarp pay $50 layover pay $16 detention pay $300 weekly per diem Trucks Drivers operate assigned automatic tractors that can be taken home when approved. Rider & Pet Both rider and pet programs are available.
