About The Position

With a competitive pay range of $65,000 - $80,000/year and full-time work, this role offers the opportunity to help shape a culture of safety and excellence across our construction projects. As a Regional Field Safety Specialist, you will start your day by heading out to various job sites across the Casselberry area. You will identify and document onsite risks or discrepancies during daily site walks, using company protocols to complete thorough hazard analyses. Your day will include evaluating equipment needs, participating in daily and weekly meetings with project teams, and assisting in investigations and reporting for any incidents that occur. You'll work closely with work crews, ensuring that injuries are accurately documented and supporting the evaluation of subcontractors and their practices. When you spot non-compliant procedures, you will notify management and participate in finding timely solutions. You will also have the opportunity to present toolbox talks and update leadership on the progress of the program. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of construction or safety experience
  • Good driving record, vehicle insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to identify onsite project risks and recommend mitigation within safety and project program requirements
  • General knowledge of construction site equipment, methods, and processes
  • Ability to take on special tasks or projects with limited direction and oversight, as well as take ownership of assigned tasks, as defined by supervisor
  • Strong multitasking, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Growing knowledge to control or eliminate hazards following the company's methods

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in organizational health and safety or a related field is preferred.
