About Keystone Management We provide various asset management and operations-oriented technical services such as building maintenance, preventive maintenance, project management, construction management, energy management, repairs, and troubleshooting of facility assets. Facilities Maintenance Excellence Manager – Facility Maintenance (Up to 90% Travel) Overview Facilities Maintenance Excellence Manager supports multiple facilities by driving continuous improvement, safety excellence, and quality performance across maintenance operations. This role requires extensive travel (up to 90%), including multi-week onsite assignments, to conduct operational assessments, lead improvement initiatives, support site startups/transitions, and occasionally serve as acting Facility Manager to ensure operational continuity. Location : Atlanta, GA Salary : $95-110K (non-negotiable) Shifts: Varies with up to 90% travel, including frequent overnight stays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance operations, facility management, quality.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance best practices, safety standards, and quality processes.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead in the field, influence without authority, and manage operations during interim FM assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site assessments of maintenance operations, safety compliance, quality standards, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support startups, customer transitions, and new scope mobilizations, including CMMS setup, asset onboarding, and team training.
  • Strengthen site safety practices and regulatory compliance (OSHA, company policies, JHAs, audits).
  • Conduct quality checks on maintenance work and support implementation of standardized SOPs and workmanship standards.
  • Analyze CMMS data to improve PM compliance, backlog management, labor utilization, and asset reliability.
  • Assist with preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance program development.
  • Provide temporary Facility Manager coverage, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, vendor management, and customer communication.
  • Train and coach technicians and supervisors on SOPs, CI tools, CMMS usage, safety procedures, and quality practices.
  • Collaborate with EHS, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and leadership on operational improvement priorities.
