Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer facing role, preferably in construction or industrial services
  • Ability to quickly evaluate both technical and commercial viability of opportunities to provide value to project teams
  • Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies
  • Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
  • Strong client facing skills with a consultative mindset and ability to effectively problem solve

Nice To Haves

  • MS in geotechnical engineering preferred
  • PE (Professional Engineer) License is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review project geotechnical and structural information and perform project evaluations to examine technical and commercial feasibility
  • Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using proprietary technologies including Rammed Aggregate Pier systems for project teams
  • Coordinate interaction between GFC Design Center, Licensed Installer and Client to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of GFC services and systems
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with major engineering firms, DOTs, and construction companies
  • Responsible for generating sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports
  • Prepare proposals and work with licensee estimators to provide project bids for RAP opportunities
  • Implement engineering/bid strategies to close business and achieve proposals and solutions to meet regional revenue goals
  • Review, sign, and seal project design submittals and field reports and prepare project close-out submittals
