We seek a sales-focused product and application expert to lead our Hydraulic and Pneumatic fluid power efforts. Our customer base includes such diverse industries as oil & gas, aggregate, cement, food & beverage, mining, and many more. The Hydraulic and Pneumatic fluid power Application Sales Engineer will work with our field sales personnel to grow our sales in hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems at new and existing customers. They will accomplish this through direct sales calls throughout the assigned Purvis geographical area and via electronic means (Teams, phone, video chat). They will assist with new applications (sizing, specifying, and designing) as well as existing applications (troubleshooting, repair, or replacement). Additionally, they will support our internal engineering design teams to assist in designing and applying hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power. The day-to-day work of the Application Sales Engineer involves meeting with customers and/or team members, providing technical advice and assistance on product selection and sizing, creating proposals or assisting in proposals with suppliers and team members, providing training to customers and team members, and assisting with product-specific marketing such as eCommerce.
