About The Position

This position delivers oversight and guidance to the region on all matters related to safety. It requires in-depth knowledge of local safety regulations as they apply to manufacturing and warehouse settings. The role involves partnering with Regional Business Leaders to identify, prioritize, and manage safety risks. The individual will utilize their experience and safety technical expertise to assist co-workers at all organizational levels with ad hoc problem-solving and issue resolution. Open and honest dialogue with co-workers at all organizational levels is encouraged to foster a positive safety culture and establish a proactive approach to bringing forward issues, concerns, and suggestions. The position also includes conducting safety audits and inspections to monitor safety performance and compliance with standards, preparing and maintaining necessary documentation and reports, providing and/or coordinating safety training, ensuring regulatory reports are completed and submitted accurately and timely, overseeing incident investigations, and collaborating with cross-functional team members to manage the post-incident process. Additionally, the individual will work with the functional safety team to develop and continuously improve company safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
