Responsibilities

• Delivers oversight and guidance to the region on all matters related to safety.
• Partners with Regional Business Leaders to identify, prioritize and manage safety risks.
• Utilizes experience and safety technical expertise to assist co-workers at all organizational levels with ad hoc problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Encourages open and honest dialogue with co-workers at all organizational levels to foster a positive safety culture.
• Conducts safety audits and inspections to monitor safety performance and compliance with standards.
• Prepares and maintains necessary documentation and reports.
• Provides and/or coordinates safety training.
• Ensures regulatory reports are completed and submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Oversees incident investigations and partners with cross-functional team members to manage post-incident processes.
• Collaborates with functional safety team to develop and continuously improve company safety policies, procedures and training programs.
