About The Position

The Regional EHS Manager at Parker Aerospace is responsible for coordinating all aspects of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management within the North America region. This role aims to meet or exceed enterprise and business unit goals by leading EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and resource conservation across multiple facilities in the US and Mexico.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as EHS, engineering, or science.
  • 5+ years of applicable EHS experience in an industrial environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of EHS regulations and industrial safety management.
  • Experience leading aspects of an EHS program and resource conservation management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret EHS requirements for clear understanding.
  • Strong process skills for standardization and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of EHS management to meet enterprise and business unit goals.
  • Lead and execute EHS programs and procedures to meet safety and accident prevention objectives.
  • Manage EHS reporting, including performance against targets and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and manage an EHS training program for employees and leaders.
  • Oversee an EHS corrective action program, including audits and inspections.
  • Manage resource conservation programs related to energy, water, and waste.
  • Lead EHS initiatives for new processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Support EHS strategy development and execution for the business unit.
  • Integrate EHS into other functional areas such as Lean, Quality, and HR.
  • Communicate effectively to develop a culture of excellence in EHS management.
