About The Position

Pivot Bio is pioneering game-changing advances in fertilizer technology, focusing on naturally-occurring microbes and modern gene editing to provide nitrogen to crops. The Regional Distribution Lead will provide leadership to enhance the seller distribution network's success, recruiting talent for independent sales representative agencies and retail partners, supporting onboarding, and developing business tactics to improve performance. This role is critical to the Commercial Sales organization, requiring strong industry relationships and experience in business development and Nitrogen management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years in ag sales, business development, training, and coaching in a managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of ag inputs and Nitrogen management solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and build relationships with independent sales representatives and ag retail partners.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with high influence prospects for recruitment into Pivot Bio's distribution network.
• Lead the onboarding and training process for new sales organizations.
• Partner with the Region Sales Lead on distribution partner strategy.
• Support local field teams in recruiting efforts to achieve annual targeted acre goals.
• Host new distribution partner orientation experiences 2-3 times per year.
• Train new sales organizations on Pivot Bio's value proposition and sales enablement tools.
• Coordinate sales calls and grower meetings to build trust and confidence.
• Drive regional efforts in distribution coverage and effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments to address field needs and challenges.
