Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Regional Discipline Leader to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection team in Florida! This role will be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Florida team. Requirements

  • 20+ years of transportation construction experience required.
  • Valid US driver's license required.
  • Bachelor degree in construction management or civil engineering.
  • Prior FDOT experience required.
  • Prior experience effectively managing teams, displaying leadership, and conclusive decision making skills required.
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors on a project site for extended period.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, managerial direction, and guidance for the region to achieve established goals.
  • Direct overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work.
  • Responsible for discipline marketing, business development, billings, and collections.
  • Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
  • Direct and manage the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing, staffing needs, etc.
  • Regional training and staff procurement and development.
  • Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary.
  • Comply with and ensure others compliance with all CED policies and procedures.
  • Travel regularly to the various regions and offices.
  • Ability to procure and maintain business with FDOT districts, water/wastewater districts, CFX, GMA, counties, cities and municipalities.
