About The Position

We are looking for a passionate Regional Director to join our team and make a difference in Northern Region East: Baltimore Council. As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role growing membership, training regional and chapter teen leaders, deepening support for BBYO in the Baltimore community, and leading initiatives that produce meaningful, Jewish experiences for Jewish teens in Baltimore and beyond. Alongside your team in Northern Region East, which includes Baltimore, DC Council, and Northern Virginia, you’ll expand BBYO’s reach and impact on hundreds of teens in the Baltimore community. SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF As a Regional Director, your responsibilities will include: Coaching and mentoring teens to implement annual calendar of high quality and fun programs, including regular leadership training for teens at all levels Managing the teen-led regional board and all regional initiatives, including two overnight conventions and other major Council events Recruiting, training, supervising and building a strong community of volunteer advisors that work directly with local chapters Seeking out and cultivating relationships with parents and alumni to mobilize more people to grow and support BBYO Serving as the ambassador of BBYO with key community partners Utilizing data to drive decisions in building a robust member recruitment process to expand the impact of BBYO in Baltimore Coordinating and leading execution of conventions and large scale events. Managing and balancing a major programmatic budget. Participating in organizational projects, teams, and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership. In the 2026-2027, playing a critical role as Host Region for BBYO’s International Convention

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years of work experience
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
  • Abilities : Experience with youth or teens is preferred.
  • Experience leading teams or projects is preferred
  • Must reside in the the Greater Baltimore area and be willing and able to travel regularly within the region and to the DC Hub office.
  • Ability to travel to organization-wide events such as International Convention, Staff Conference, and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
